Profile

Rachel Stork Stoltz is the owner, illustrator and metalsmith of Anatomical Element. She received her BS in Biological/Pre-Medical Illustration at Iowa State University and her MS in Biomedical Visualization at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She was also a 2007 Association of Medical Illustrators Vesalian Scholar and the artist-in-residence for the Stanford Medicine X conference in 2014. Her goal is to educate and invoke awareness, giving a visual voice to invisible illness and disease. She is currently located in Chicago, IL working for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and running her own business Anatomical Element.
