This digital line drawing shows both the deep and superficial branches of the ulnar nerve in the wrist and hand. It is difficult to find illustrations showing both branches because they travel through different layers of tissue. Studies were done on several anatomical specimens then compiled to create the final image. Surrounding anatomical structures of the hand are also depicted.
