Drosophila suzukii, Proboscis
The spotted wing fruit fly is originally native to Southeast Asia, it has now spread through the international fruit trade in the temperate climate of the whole northern hemisphere. D. suzukii is a fruit crop pest and is a serious economic threat to soft summer fruit. Here the proboscis, the tool used for ingesting juice, can be seen unfolded.
