Next medical illustration of Not only is oncogenic KRAS able to kickstart all kinds of proliferative signalling pathways inside a cell, it's able to hijack the behaviour of nearby fibroblasts as well. This causes the fibroblasts to release growth factors, which cause even more proliferative signalling in the cancer cells.
