Thrombopoiesis

Myelofibrosis is one of the rarer type of blood cancer where scar tissue, called "fibrosis" is building up inside the bone marrow. As the scar tissue is taking away increasingly more space the bone marrow can not make enough healthy blood cells anymore. In this shot we illustrated this mechanism for a MoA animation for a drug counteracting this.
