Profile

I love the challenge of creating informative illustrations for books, journals, presentations, websites, etc. I have over 25 years of experience turning complicated medical information into accurate and understandable Medical Illustrations. I specialize in creating illustrations for books and I am experienced at working with both authors and publishers. I have a BFA in Medical Illustration from the Cleveland Institute of Art. This degree included acquiring a broad range of digital illustration and artistic training. I also received extensive graduate level medical and scientific knowledge from courses such as: cadaver dissection, histology, pathology, embryology and comparative anatomy at Case Western Reserve University.  -Professional Member of The Association of Medical Illustrators- an organization that promotes professionalism, competency and ethics among its members. -Skilled at creating initial concept quickly -Able to clearly communicate during the project – Practiced at quickly applying feedback and meeting deadlines!
