Hepatocyte Invasion by a Malaria Sporozoite

Next medical illustration of This is a 3D model reconstructed from a CT scan. Osirix was used to convert the CT data to a 3D model then the model was cleaned, textured, and rendered. The final image depicts the distance between the skin an the underlying skeleton.
