Virtual Microscope Respiratory Epithelium

Next medical animation of 3D animation created for the Alford Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Chicago to show how newly-discovered alternative neural pathways connect to known locomotor pathways. Used to educate students and assess their learning outcomes. Digital assets created using Autodesk 3Ds Max and Pixologic ZBrush. Composited with Adobe After Effects and Premiere. Voice-over and sound editing done in Adobe Audition. Content formatted for web, mobile, and print usage.

Locomotor Neural Pathways Animation

Animated sequence of 3D reconstructed neuron created for the Alford Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Chicago using experimental data gathered in their lab. Used to facilitate research discoveries about structure and functioning of these neuron types. Progression from raw data to wireframe model to completed form. Digital assets created using Autodesk 3Ds Max and Pixologic ZBrush. Composited with Adobe Photoshop. Content formatted for web, mobile, interactive, and print applications.
