medical illustration of Cells in different parts of the embryo express different genes and will form different tissues. However, chromosome conformation capture and imaging approaches show that the three-dimensional organization of the genome across these different tissues is the same. This artwork was created as a cover image for Nature Genetics for the Vaquerizas lab.
Next medical illustration of Nanostrings allows for precise quantitative measurement of RNAs. It does this by the hybridisation of complementary RNAs that contains identification tags. This was created for Canopy Biosciences to promote their product Nanostrings. Nanostrings counts the number of specific RNA transcripts in a sample. It’s key features are precise quantitative readouts matched to specific transcripts and the ability to detect very low quantities.
