Cerrena unicolor is a shelf mushroom resembling the Turkeytail mushroom, but distinctive in its often green or greenish color due to algae. Spread of its spores is aided by the wood-boring horntail wasp and the parasitic ichneumon wasp. This painting was completed in transparent watercolor and used for a project by a private client.

This illustration shows a pair of Mourning Doves on a branch of evergreen in winter. The Mourning Dove is a descendant of the Rock Dove. The painting was inspired by Valentine's Day and might be used for a valentine greeting card. Painted with transparent watercolors on Arches paper.
