Science Biohybrid Animation

Next medical animation of Working closely with the Hemanext team, we crafted medical animations to elucidate the science behind oxidative damage in stored blood. To leverage the visuals for multiple communication needs, the content was broken into chapters. The version we show here outlines the molecular components of blood involved in oxygen delivery, how storage can affect them, and the subsequent impacts on transfusion.

Oxidative Damage in Red Blood Cells MOA Animation

We partnered with ENT1DEP to animate this hypothesis. The animation follows the virus from entry through the respiratory or gastrointestinal tract, into the bloodstream, and into the beta cells themselves. From there, we take the viewer inside the cell, showing how a persistent low-grade infection may stress beta cells over time, overwhelm their machinery, and ultimately trigger an autoimmune response that destroys them.
