medical illustration of This painting was created for the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators exhibit for the 2018 conference. Left is an adult Eastern Screech Owl (gray morph) and right is the fledgling. I worked in a traditional realism style using a mix of acrylic and colored pencil. The branches feature greenshield lichen, native to Connecticut where I worked on this illustration.
